Question about GPS
This is usually done via your PC by hooking up your GPS unit to your PC and then logging in to the website of the GPS Manufacturer. Most offer online update of maps. There may be a charge to do this, depending on your model or map update plan you may have subscribed to.
Alternatively, some GPS manufacturers offer the latest maps on memory cards to insert into your GPS for compatible models.

SOURCE: Free map updates
Unfortunately, they don't offer free map updates. You can purchase map updates for around $70, but they won't update them for free.
Also, the base model of the C330 does not have enough memory to store the entire 2008 Map Update. Unless you have more memory than it came with stock, you may have to choose which maps to include. For instance, in North America you have to choose between US and Canada - there's insufficient memory to hold both.

Asmany as there are FREE dinners Updates are not free, unless you paid full price for it when you bought it. Free upgrades are a deceptive myth. If you get a free uograde its usually minor and was included in the price of the pack.
