Hello,

You might try contacting Parts Express and MCM Electronics as possible sources for replacements. Otherwise, keep an eye on the electronics parts of auctions for a 'parts only' donor VCR.

LG LED TV SMPS & Panel cost

If you are talking about the Display Panel and a board---the cost of the panel (entire front screen unit) will easily exceed the cost of a new set. If it is being repaired and they are authorized LG they should be able to get part number for both the smps and the panel and a price.

VCR Display Panel

It sounds like the LED might be burned out of it. Is your VCR still under warranty? If it is, the manf. can replace it at no cost. Otherwise an LED doesnt cost that much to replace if that is the problem. Did it do anything else before the problem happened? Does it still work now? But you cant see the screen is all?

I don't know the code to my Panasonic VCR

Hello;

According to the manual located at
http://www.hifi-remote.com/manuals/manual.shtml?URC-3300 , the codes for a Panasonic VCR are: 0035, 0162, 0225, 0454, 0616, 1062, 1162, 1262.

If none of these codes work, you can find the code for your VCR by doing the following:

1. On the remote control, press VCR once.
2. Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.
3. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
4. Aim the remote control at the the VCR and slowly alternate between pressing POWER and VCR. Stop when the VCR turns off.
NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code first.
5. To lock in the code, press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.

Hope this gives you the information you need.

I've had this RCA VCR model # VR652HF for about 10 to 12 years but one day it just stopped working as it was. All it does now is if you turn it on it says hello, then ejecting then turns off after 5- 10...

Good day
It sounds to me like that 1 or more of the drive belts has lost it's tension..(meaning it's time for new belts).
Another thing,..some models have a wee light bulb inside that is involved with the loading drawer..it senses that the tape has loaded properly, ..(continue towards "play tape".)
If it has burned out,..the machine cannot "see" that the tape is/is not in place,.."shuts down".

Best bet to send to a repair tech for service. Have a "belt&tire kit" plus the bulb replaced...& check over the loading drawer...(a trouble area also).

Need the right code for my sharp vcr vc-h810

The codes to use for a Sharp VCR and a URC-3021 are 0048 or 0807.

To setup your URC-3021 for the VCR, these are the steps:

1. Turn on your VCR .
2. On the remote control, press VCR once.
3. Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.
4. Enter the first four-digit code for your device. If performed correctly,
the LED will blink twice. If the LED did not blink twice, repeat steps 2 through 4 and enter the same code again.
5. Aim the remote control at the device and press POWER once. The device should turn off.

Hope that helps.

It does not eject the tape,it gives out error c3211

Reel of the cassette must be stuck inside. open the top cover and have a look inside. release the reel if it is tangled up inside. Reset the switch at the bottom of the frot pannel and try to eject the cassette. It will slove your problem. If it is not then you must consult the nearby sony service centre.

I need to code a magnovox vcr into my innovage remote

The codes for a Magnavox VCR are: 021, 060, 062, 104, 106, 115, & 124.

To program your remote by entering a code, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on your VCR.
  2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
  3. Press the VCR button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
  4. Enter the first set of 3-digit codes from the list. The LED will blink once every keypress. After the 3rd digit, the red LED will turn off indicating that the code was recognized for the device. If the code was not compatible, the LED will flash several times and you need to return to step 2 to try that code again or to try the next code in the list.
  5. After the LED has turned off, aim the remote at the VCR and press ON/OFF. If the device turns off, you have used the correct code and the remote was successfully programed. If the device does not power off, return to step 2 and try again with the next code in the list.
I hope that helps.

Flashing "3" on VR330 front panel

A possible bad sensor, bad mode switch, mechanism gear timing off, or perhaps a missing or incorrect voltage from the power supply may cause this problem. I don't know what the "3" indicates, this may be an error code which would help a technician with the proper literature diagnose. Unfortunately, most modern electronics, VCRs, TVs and such are of the disposeable variety. Costs of repair, if you can even find a service center, are usually not economical. If you by chance have some technical savvy, you might be able to trace the problem down.
