HOT and COLD blending

my last two washing machines, totally different brands and types, did the exact same thing. It must be a new way of setting them up, I don't understand either. I can't get straight hot water. My new one does seem hotter than the old one I had which was very distinctly hot then cold then hot then cold even on hot hot water.

On cold water setting we get a very small stream of water

Hello,

Turn off the water spigots, and turn the washer to the fill portion of a wash cycle, then turn off the washer.

Unscrew the hoses from both the faucet, as well as from the washer. There are little filter screens on the washer side, and there may be screens on the faucet side of the hose. I bet that these screens are near plugged up with lime / calcium. Consider replacing the hot water side as well, it is likely building up too.

Kenmore front loader washing machine very long wash cycle

You need to replace your cold water, inlet valve.

Unplug the machine from the power source. Disconnect cold water hose. remove the top cover of the machine. You will see the cold inlet valve/solenoide where the hose fits.

Take note of where the wiring goes. You can get the part from your appliance parts outlet.

Refit, and you should be right to go.

Good Luck.

Kenmore 80 series washer with setting on cold/cold the water doesn't run

You might want to try cleaning the cold water inlet screen. Turn the water off where the hose connects to the faucet. Disconnect the cold water hose at the washing machine, you will see a small screen inside the cold water connector on the washing machine. Use a very small screw driver or heavy needle and work the screen out of the inlet. If the screen is not dirty or plugged, you may need to replace the water switching valve. It is the valve assembly that the hot and cold water lines attach too in the back of the washer.
Good luck.

Hot Water runs in fine but the cold only trickles into Washer,

There are 2 hoses. Hot and cold and if the nobs are not turned wide open then it will not give you the water like you want. Check to make sure that the hot water nob is turned to were the water should come out like the cold. If not that then check the water heater and see if it is set up the way it needs to be.

Whirlpool washer approximately 2 1/2 year old

The screen at the cold water inlet is clogged. Cut off the cold water line and unscrew the line to the washer at the washer. Use a flathead screwdriver and pry out the metal screen that is visible Wash it out in a sink and re-install it. Re-attach the water line, turn it on and your'e good to go. If not you will need a new water inlet valve. These are the only things that can cause your problem unless there is a problem with your cold water supply pressure. Good Luck!!!!!

Slow water run for cold water

slow water run could be caused by the filter on the cold water hose is clogged by granite or mineral deposits
1. turn off the water to the cold hose
2. drain water out of hose and detach from washer
3. get a water spray bottle and set to strong stream not spray,
spray the filter that goes into the machine, this should clean out the debris that is clogging the line hold a small container to catch water when you spray if you see black specks it granite
4. after it runs clear reattach hose and turn the cold water back on that should solve your problem, it did the trick for me
