Clicking noise when breaking - 1999 Daewoo Nubira

Have someone stick there head up where the brake switch is while pushing the brake. See if the noise is coming from from the switch, otherwise if the clicking is coming from outside the truck, take it back to the shop that installed it. Shouldn't be clicking.

DRUM TYPE BRAKES USUALLY COME WITH A STAR ADJUSTER.
TYPE WHEEL IF THE AUTOMATIC ADJUST STOP IS NOT PROPERLY POSITIONED OVER THE WHEEL YOU WILL GET THE CLICKING NOISE

I would check the wheel bearings on the left side first. Just for a dummy check make sure that the cowlings to the wheel wells have not fallen down and rubbing on something. They have plastic tabs that sometimes break and leave something hanging.

If you are talking about brakes, and the noise is a clicking sound, then you have drum brakes on the rear of your car. The springs in them break sometimes and causes a clicking noise. If it is a rubbing noise and you can feel a vibration in the steering wheel when you hit the brakes, it is a front rotor that is warped. If you haven't had a brake job in a couple of years, then your due.

there is a TSB(technical service bulletin) available at your dealership for that. Im pretty sure thats the cv shafts making that noise. its very common.

If the clicking noise is from the dash its the heater control valve and see below

I had the exact same problem, yes it was the heater control valve, the repair was 285.00. The tech that replaced it told me it is a common problem for the Galant. He said that if you keep your temp selector on either all hot or all cold that it keeps constant pressure on the plastic gear teeth in the valve. As they break off one by one you begin to hear that clicking noise as the dont catch. When you finally break off the last one it stops working.

According to him if you always leave the dial at least one notch from fully hot or fully cold you will not experience a failure of the switch

could be a stone stuck in one of the calipers , sometimes driving in reverse can clear the stone.

It sounds like an axle is about to break. I assume it is front wheel drive and if the noise is like a click, click, click thenthats what it is. I know this because i just replaced mine not even a week ago. I hope this was help.
