I was just given a cuisinart DLC-8 PLUS with a pasta maker. i have not been able to find a manual. can you help?

The DLC-8F bowl will not work for the DLC-8M, as I understand the parts list for the 11 cup food processors. However, this site, https://www.kitchenworksinc.com/cuisinart-dlc-8-4-piece-tritan-bowl-kit/ , has a work bowl for the DLC-8 food processor. Your Cuisinart should be warrantied for a little longer (25 minus 15 years) so call the factory to authorize a return or see if you can drop it off at a local retail outlet to save you shipping costs (CA law requires them to accept it for service)..

New ones are only warrantied for 3 years and they cost about $200 on up.

I think your best investment is to get it fixed.

I had the same problem: Cuisinart sent a "replacement" sheath for my DLC-8E which turned out to be the wrong one. When I replaced mine,which was cracked, none of my blades would fit over the new sheath! I "solved" the problem by purchasing a new DLC-8E motor base on Ebay for only $9.99!
