SCART from Sky box to SCART input on Pana. SCART out from Pana to TV to monitor results. The Pana SCARTs should be marked, one for external source such as Sky box, one for TV
make sure whatever you are hooking up to the input has a good output. Meaning....if you are hooking up a dvd player and it is playing a disc, make sure it has audio out of the dvd player usually the red for right channel and white for left channel. Also make sure in the menu on the dvd player you have analog audio selected so as to have sound coming thur to the tv. Keep in mind another way to check the audio of the tv is to use a mp3 player or your iphone.. Just need 1/8" jack from iphone to red and white RCA male jacks to hook to tv to test. Hope this gets you closer to solving your problem.
that is possible
the home theater has so many in puts on your dvd and out puts.
there is a way
1 you can buy a vedio/audio converted to rf signals, this will mean both signals entering tv using rf.
2 get your vedio out from dvd and audio out, feed that to a converter, vedio in and audio in okey
Select different modes on the remote or front panel and make sure all speaker that you have hooked up are showing on display. Are the Lt & Rt channels at least playing audio? If you want, i can step you thur some steps to try in live chat if you want today. Let me know as i have experience in this area! Sincerely Guru Jay
you cannot get your tv to play surround sound through the speakers, but if your tv has either a scart 21 pin socket or an audio out, you can fit a scart to phono adapter and connect the phono plugs to the audio left right input on your sound system, likewise if you have audio left and right output(phono) on the tv, connect to audio in on your unit.
You should have a choice of output channels on the system menu, similiar to DVD/video1/video2 or output 1 and 2 or auxilliary 1 and 2
