I have a fujitsu amilo 3520 running winxp, as soon as it gets to the windows xp screen it restarts also none of the options work such as safe mode or anything it just restarts again, i also tried pressing f8 and tried the

Try scan de operating system partition with an dedicated program, from a bootable CD or reinstall the operating system.

Hi, laptop will not start


Seems like your Operation System crashed. Find your reinstall CDs and reload windows.

If you find someone who can pull the hard drive and hook it to another machine and run a check disk that might save you from reloading it and losing all your data.

At start up a blue screen appears followed by clicking noises


1.Shut down your computer and start hitting F8 key (on the top line of the keyboard.) immediately (on the top line) up and down at least 20-30 times and choose "Last known Good configuration."

2.If this does not work, shut down your computer and restart the computer in the "safe mode with networking" option.
How to restart the computer in the safe mode with networking: As soon you restart the computer, start hitting F8 key immediately (on the top line of the keyboard.) up and down at least 20-30 times and choose safe mode with networking by using the up and down arrow key on the keyboard and hit enter twice.
2. If the computer restarts in the safe mode then, please follow these steps" a.Disable or unistall any anti-virus Norton Removal tool link: http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039 Mcafee removal tool link: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe
b.run malwarebytes and scan your computer. http://www.malwarebytes.org/
c.cleanboot the computer.Please follow the Microsoft Link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796

7.If this all does not work, you might have to reinstall the operating system. Note:This would also delete all of the data. Hi there.
To factory restore a Amilo 2727, restart the laptop and press F8 as it starts up. It will bring you to a sub menu with safe mode etc, in that list you will see factory restore, choose that option and just follow the on-screen instructions.

Restart


It sounds like you may have some corrupted system files. You should be able to repair them using your Windows XP installation CD and the steps out-lined in this article. http://www.short-media.com/review.php?r=313
