How do i use the sound of the monitor CMV CT-723A

Monitors seldom have sound. This one of yours is little known as I am trying to find the specs on it. Sometimes they have an audio socket, but you have to run a cable to powered speakers. The data signal from a computer sound card is not amplified, it is just data.

I can't get sound on my kodi. What am I doing wrong?

Reinstall Kodi

But make sure that you uninstall Kodi first and then reinstall it again if the sound issue has been resolved.

Update Kodi with the latest version

A new release of Kodi version can fix some bugs and gives a better experience. To install the latest Kodi go to the download page/application store and update Kodi.

Reconfigure the Audio Settings on the Kodi

Sometimes incorrect audio settings in Kodi can cause the no sound issue, you need to check the audio settings by the following procedure.
  • First, launch Kodi on your device.
  • And on the home screen of Kodi click the Settings button.
  • After that, Click on the System Settings.
  • And now Click on the Standard to change it to different settings mode until and unless you don't see Advanced in the left pane, once you get it, click Advanced to go to the Advanced settings.
  • Then Click Audio in the left pane, and adjust the audio settings to match your audio output device.
  • After that, restart the device and try it again to see if the sound is working or not.

Check hardware issue

Sometimes hardware issue causes no sound issue in your computer so check your hardware works or not by following the steps.

Check Audio Cable

Always see that audio cable works or not while using Kodi TV box or speakers, you can try another audio cable and try your audio cable in another device to troubleshoot.

Check Connecting Ports

Check on the connecting ports and ensure that the connecting ports are working nicely sometimes dust in ports causes the issues so use the brush to clean the brush and try it again.

Check Bluetooth Audio Connection

And if you are using the Bluetooth audio connection always pay attention to the unstable Bluetooth connection because Bluetooth connection will be interfered by other signals so be careful and turn off other Bluetooth connection and try to turn off the Bluetooth connection on Kodi, and turn it on to see if it works or not.

Update the sound driver on Windows

In the window to fix the sound issue on Kodi, you can upgrade the sound driver and, by going to the manufacturer's website, you can manually update your audio driver then download latest sound driver for your Windows computer.
  • If you don't have enough time and you don't want to wait to then do it automatically with Driver Easy.
  • Download and install Drive Easy
  • Now run the Driver Easy and click the Scan Now button it will scan and detect any problem drivers.
  • Now click on the Update All the automatically download and install the correct version.

Restart your computer to make it take effect

After updating the sound driver again try Kodi to see if the sound's working.

Run Kodi in another device

If above mention doesn't solve the issue then, try Kodi in another different device. Something must be wrong with the hardware device.

Verify the speakers are plugged in and turned on and volume is turned up.Also check the volume control on the computer and make sure it is not muted.Go into Device manager and make sure there are no problems (yellow ! or ? and red x) If there are download and install the audio device driver to fix the issue. If you dont know which device you have you can download SIW or aida64 to help identify your audio device.

MY PC CAN NOT PLAY MUSIC

Problems with computer audio can come at the worst possible times.
The most common audio problems come from incorrect configuration of your
computer's internal audio card, or with the card's drivers themselves.
Following these troubleshooting tips can save you from audio drop outs that can happen frequently.
1.Click your computer's "Start" button on the bottom tool bar. This button is generally located on the left side of the computer's screen. Once you click on it, you will have a menu arise that gives you access to the internal settings of your computer.
2. Click on the computer's "Control Panel." This gives you direct control over the hardware and software configuration of your machine.
3. Go into the "Sound" portion of the "Control Panel." This gives you the option to get into the internal settings of the sound cards that are available on your machine.
4. Click on the sound card that you primarily use for your computer's audio. Usually, the one that is used by default should be labeled with a green check mark. This is the card that we are going to have to troubleshoot. If it is not labeled with a check mark, click "Enable" to allow the device to be used in default mode.
5. Click on the card's "Properties" tab. This gives you access to detailed information about the card's functions.
6. Click on the "Properties" button on the "Controller Information" tab. This will bring you to the screen that lets you see the current general configuration settings. You will see multiple tabs for different settings of the audio card.
7. Click on the "Driver" tab. There will be notifications on whether or not your device's drivers have been correctly installed. You also have the option to update your driver from this screen. Clicking on the "Update Drivers" button will conduct a search for more up to date drivers for your audio device and automatically install them for you.
I hope this will help you and please don't forget to rate me. Thank you for FixYa

No sound in my PC

hi nkorear, i am relay happy to help you in this problem but i need some brief details of your system ( what is your os , are you using on board sound card r external sound card ) but if you can you provide to me are i will give you perfect solution or else i will give you some basic normal problem solutions base on sound device.

Step1 : First of all check what is your default audio device setting. For this, open Control Panel > Sounds and audio devices, open Audio tab

See that the Device selected is your sound-card or on-board audio device. It should not be blank or some modem device. Set the Default sound playback and sound recording device correctly from the drop down menu. If your device is not there in this list see the step 2.

Step2: If the step 1 is not successful, it means that your sound device software has become either corrupt or has been accidentally un-installed. In such case, install the sound driver from the sound-card/mother-board driver CD. You can also download the latest driver if you don't have the driver CD. After you install the driver, restart your computer, and then check the settings as in step 1 again.

If neither of step not work, its mean your sound card is corrupted , i can give you two option for that

option one : internal sound card , you can buy one and give to your motherboard wight color install the drive you can get back your sound as good as old price range form 6$

option two : external sound card . now usb sound card is available in market u can use them too its very easy to install and use ( but quality will be low) price range form 3$

No audio devices installed cant play audio files

First check if a windows machine by going to start/control panel/sound and audio devices and see if a sound card is listed. Check the setting under hardware and audio. You need two essentials to play audio files. You need a sound card and the software to play audio files. Most desktop computers come with some type of sound card but you can buy one from a local "Best Buys", "Walmart" online or computer store. They are relatively inexpensive and can be installed as a DIY in an open PCI slot inside the back of your machine or take it to a computer store. Windows Media Player comes with Windows and Apple's Quick time with Macs so that should take care of the player end of things. Hope this helps out. Give me some feedback if it does. Thanks
