I had the same problem with Zanussi ZDT 6252. To fix it, turn power on, close door fully, then open door, turn off then turn back on again. If you follow this sequence the machine is reset and you can select programs again.

Check first the filters on the inlet water line (both sides). Then, if problem still exist - check that the inlet water valve works(it is an electromagnet valve, located at the pipe's entrance to the machine)). If it doesn't work, test that it get power. In case it get power and doesn't work - You can easily open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! Check as well for valve's coil resistance. In case you have no resistance measurement - you should replace it for a new one. Good luck

Have you proper water pressure or is the water tap turned on or kinked? If so - fix it and try again.

ZANUSSI FLE1416W (1400XC). ONCE THE WASH PROGRAM HAS BEEN SELECTED AND YOU DEPRESS THE START/PAUSE BUTTON THE MACHINE STARTS UP BUT TRIPS OFF AFTER 5 SECONDS AND DOES NOT WORK

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
It might be waiting for water feed as a guess?

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

The machine makes a buzzing noise when turned on but nothing else happens

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

First check the water supply coming into the washer- no kinks, tap on, washer hasn't be pushed back too far and squashing the hose(s).
If the washer is trying to actually start a program I suspect the buzzing sound is probably coming from the water inlet control valve which is immediately behind where the water hose(s) screws in at the back. If you can get at the back you should be able to tell that the noise is coming from there. If it is, the valve is malfunctioning and requires replacing.
Good luck,

John C

My dishwasher does not work after 1 successful wash.

Hello,
I would check the drain hose is actually going into an open outlet, best thing to do is take out drain hose and direct either into a sink or bucket but keep hose up dont drop on floor or all water will run out.If it does not work It sounds as if there is a blockage in the drain pump.

Hope yhis helps.

Hello! Our Bosch-Siemens clothes washing machine SIWAMAT 2105 has the following problem: When it want to eliminate water, the water pomp doesn't work(we hear just some noises). We already manually...

Make sure you use high efficiency detergent.  The front load machines take a special kind of detergent to make them run smoothly.  Check your drain hose for clogs, and clean the pump again.  If none of these fix the problem, you will probably need to replace the pump.
