I have just purchased a used stove, and am trying to set the clock. I've followed the manual instructions to the letter, and nothing happens. I'm connected properly, the display is working, the burners, etc. are working, but still can't set the clock, and also can't turn on the "surface" light. I've even pressed the "control lock" button, and the "cancel" button, but I only get the occasional 3-tone signal, and then nothing happens. Any suggestions?
I did the un-plug thing a couple of times, and both times the control panel lit up with all the bells and whistles, but no clock pictures. The instructions say to press the Clock/Set button, which I did, but nothing happens. No tones sound, and nothing changes. Sigh..... Most other buttons work fine.

Remove the plug from the socket for a few minutes. Then plug it back. Does the clock control blicking? look at the pictures on the control as a whole.
Do you see anything like a table clock? press it once, then press the numeric pad or up and down arrow button depending on the model you have. press enter or start if set correctly.
Ok,replaced the control overlay instead if not work, it shows that relay board that controling time was bad. Needs to be replacedOk,replaced the control overlay instead if not work, it shows that relay board that controling time was bad. Needs to be replaced

Do you mean the KGSS907SS01? Kitchenaid ranges usually don't have three letters before the last two digits in the model number.
If so, all you need to do is press the Clock Set/Start keypad (below the 7) and then type in the current time. Then press the Clock Set/Start keypad again. The range uses a 12-hour clock.
Hi Jason. Have you performed the following actions?
Electronic Timing Center (Analog Clock w/Digital Display)
Synchronizing the analog and digital clocks
1. Press the "timer" and "start time" buttons simultaneously.
2. Turn the set knob to move the hands on the analog clock to any time setting.
3. After five seconds the display will go blank. Press the timer button and using the set knob, set the digital time to the exact time on the analog clock. This will synchronize the two clocks. You can now set the time of day.
Setting the Time-of-Day The time-of-day must be set before any other program can be used. When your oven is first connected to the power in your home, the digital display will show 00:00. To program the time-of-day:
1. Push and hold the "timer" and "bake hours" button at the same time.
2. Turn the "Set" knob until correct time is displayed on the digital clock.
3. Release "timer" and "bake hours" button
The analog clock will automatically set after the digital time is set

In most cases. Simply press the appropriate button for the feature you want to access, and then use the "+" and "-" buttons to increase and decrease the number values. For example, to set the clock, press the "Clock" button, followed by the "Time/Temp" button; use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the clock to the desired time. When you are finished, press the "Start" button to save your setting. Use the same process to set the oven temperature and timer.
Hi the is a two year g/tee on all Miele appliances. I would contact Miele and book a service call. The appliance most likely requires new clock. Modified clocks are available which allow you to change setting via control knobs rather than keypad.
Typically all you have to do to set the clock is to press the Clock button, enter the time, and press Clock again. However on some models, clock set is accessed through the main menu, by pressing the Help button and following the prompts.
This may be unrelated to your problem, but
I have noticed sometimes the instructions tell you to use the ADJUST key. If that does not work try the SET key sometimes it will work instead of the ADJUST key.
