My Homelite Mighty Lite has developed perished fuel lines. (12 months after purchase!!!!!!) Is it possible to obtain spare fuel line.... preferably attached to a new fuel tank as well. It looks like a really hard task to change only the lines. Many thanks. John

The fuel lines can be purchased separately usually by the foot from any outdoor power equipment dealer. They can be easily installed by cutting one end at an angle and "feeding" it through holes. Homelite fuel lines are of a different OD than most so make sure you get the proper size. The most popular size for Homelite is OD .203 ID .04.

Homelite mighty lite 26bv gas Blower won't run full speed or only in Full Choke

Sounds like a lean condition. Rebuild carb, replace fuel lines and fuel filter and you should be ready to blow the leaves.

I need a gas tank for homelite mighty lite 26ss. the whole is too big in the gas tank for the gas line.

No, what you really need is the "correct" sized fuel line. Do not alter the hole in any way. Here is an offering for a complete fuel line replacement "kit". I think it is Amazon.com. The sizes of line they have should fit your make and model. See the third Item listed under BLOWERS at the top of the page. Click on that and you will see the item you actually need. Reasonable price too.

sounds like an air/ fuel mixture/ratio problem.there should be two screws side by side near the carb. crank trimmer and slowly adjust screws, in or out, till engine runs smoothly..
