I don't know where the filter is in my siemens washing machine to clean it. I think this is causing the problem I''m having as the washing powder is sticking to the clothes. Can you help please.

Check the filter at the front of the machine at the base.

There should be a small cover at front of machine at base.

Open this cover and inside you will see a circular cap.

This needs to be unscrewed anti clock wise, it can be stiff if not used before.

remember you will have to catch the water that comes out and pull out any debris inside.

It is possibly blocked or has debris inside.

Remember you will have to catch the water be prepared.

Hi, I'm not sure about siemens machines but normally the filter is on the front of the machine in the bottom right hand corner, it maybe behind a clip on panel the you have to pry off or fold down.

I can't look for a manual to be able to give you more information as you haven't provided the machines model number.

Hope this helps

My celcus cwm 1005 wont tack the washing powder

if the machine wont take in the powder
then the machine has no cold water supply
so this is caused by a few things

1} there is no cold water turned on to the machine
or there is a heavy pressure drop in your cold water supply too your home
2} the inlet filter is blocked solid the filter lives at the machine end of the cold water inlet hose... and you use a flat nose pliers to remove it for cleaning
3} the cold water inlet valve has failed
so it never opens so cant wash the soap from the drawer too the drum

i would get a tech too look at it
check the filter and also replace the valve if needed

Probably your selenoid water valve is bust/ faulty. Need a new valve, not expensive, Can be caused by overheating during a period of low/ no water flow.

How to service a whirlpool washing machine

They don't need servicing. Clean the dispenser drawer and inside, door seal gasket, filter base and drain pump impellor and check drain hoses clear regularly. Apart from that a monthly boil wash with no powder or conditioner and no clothes in is a good idea. Anything else is going to be a repair job if something breaks

Hi bob, have you tried cleaning the dispencer drawer that supplys the detergent to the tub? in some cases over time the detergent holder can collects small amounts of powder that can dry out and stick to the walls of the holder and when the machine is in its spinning stage can sometimes vibrate the dry powder in turn cause the powder to enter the tub also there can be a huge build up of liquid detergent like softners that can form a hard black residue in the holder in turn causing the clothes to collect black paticles. If all is ok then you could try applying a hot wash cycle without any clothes in the tub to flush the bowl from any contaminents, thumbs up if this helps thanks.

The soap powder in my washing machine is not getting dissolved. This is a front load A07-16 electronic model.

This will be due to one of three causes.
  1. You are using an incompatible wash powder for your machine. If you're in India (the WM A 0716 was an India-only model) then some of the cheapest domestic brands are really poor quality and some of the established major brands are counterfeit products.
  2. Most powders contain some insoluble components which should be rinsed out, so the rinse cycles are not working correctly. This can happen if the wash load is too big for the machine and fails to allow space for the rinse water to circulate, otherwise it's likely a machine fault.
  3. The wash cycle is too cold. You have either selected too low a temperature or the machine has a failed heating element.
If the machine is faulty then you will need to contact Siemens for repair.

My siemens WD1252 doesn't change from wash to rinse

Hallo,
I have the same problem since yesterday. I've seen that probably it doesn't warm up the water. If I change washing temperature to "cold" everything works normally. I think that heater is broken.
Have You resolved your problem? Have You called service?

Best regards.

Dishes are not clean; lots of soap residue

Try the combo liguidgel powder packets and wash on the potscrubber plus setting. We saw a drastic improvement with this setting. I have just about gotten out of the habit of thorough pre-washing, but I do rinse heavily soiled items.

Washing powder residues left in washing powder compartment.

5 bar is a good pressure. worth while to check the valve filter as suggested. turn off water, remove hoses from machine. look down valve spigot and there is a mesh filter inset. remove with small pliers and clean
