My sansa clip wont play the songs it says synchronize with music subscription why

If your device can play some songs before, then it appears "...subscription..." meaning that Songs are protected or expired. You used Rhapsody to sync songs before? If so, trial expired or after 30 days the songs expired. Therefore, you need connect your device to Rhapsody do subscription.

WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE MUSIC FILES

The songs have to be in the right format. iTunes format is not compatible. If you do not buy a Rhapsody subscription and refresh the device through Rhapsody on the computer you initially synced it to, those songs will become useless as well over time. I would download songs in mp3 format only - whether paid or unpaid. They will never give you grief.

Can't remove Rhapsody songs

Delete them through Windows Media Player or reformat the device:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.

Trying to synch my SanDisk MP3 player to Rhapsody

This player is a little goofy. The normal method to synchronize is through Windows Media Player. But if you go for the Rhapsody subscription, you have to also sync the device through Rhapsody.

Mp3 Player - sansa sandisk 2 GB

Unfortunately you are not going to be able to go online to sync your device...All music subscription such as napster and rhapsody require you to sync your device every single month using their actual software..The reason is to prevent customer from cancelling their music subscription..once you cancel your membership all the songs you have on your device will become useless. In another word, you are renting the music from the subscription company...

P.S.Please rate accordingly...

Sansa e250 sync and rhapsody -- ugh

the Walmart songs should be usable, but the old Rhapsody songs will have to be reloaded, or your Rhapsody sub will have to be renewed.

Won't play certain songs

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.

Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
