Make sure that your pnone is nor in silent mode. Now go to menu>settings>profile>genaral>edit Now you can select youe ring tone and volum, key tone,,,,,, Or you can use volume keys

Silence the tones your keypad makes when you press a key.

To enter Silent Mode:

In standby mode, press and hold . # button,“Entering Silent Mode” briefly appears in the display and your phone returns to standby mode

To exit Silent Mode:

While in Silent mode and standby mode, press and hold # button “Exit Silent Mode” briefly appears in the display and your phone returns to standby mode.


Adjust the Ringer:

1. In standby mode, press the volume key on the right side of the phone up or down. Options are:

Ringer Off
Vibrate
Low
Low/Medium
Medium
Medium/High
High
Vibrate/High

2. When you are satisfied with the setting, press OK.Your phone returns to standby mode.

Hi to adjust the volume of keypad tone you need to Adjust the volume of the key tones
In Idle mode, press [Up /Down ] to adjust the key tone
volume.
Let me know if this will solve your prob

have you checked to see if it is in silent mode? hold the # key and see if it fixes your problem.

In order to set the ring tone to silent you must turn the volume down to silent or vibrate. Go to phone in menu and check on sounds.

samsun 3500 do not have a keypad tone and when i try putting volume it tells me exit silent mode i am not in silent mode and my phone does not ring either

Press the # key and hold. This activates and deactivates the silent mode.
