Kenmore fridge w/ bottom freezer: fridge is cold enough, but freezer is not freezing. Compressor seems to be working. Cleaned the coils at the bottom as best I could. Heater on freezer evaporator doesn't seem to be on so that isn't the problem. Compressor/fan run continuously but coils don't seem too warm or cold. Ideas?

there is a flap in the refrigerator side usually near or behind the light bulb the freezer side is thermostatically controlled with the compressor being controlled. On the refrigerator side the cold air comes from the freezer side. when this flap is open the refrigerator will cool continuously, Check the flap or the duct assembly here is an illustration of the part http://www.repairclinic.com/Kenmore-Refrigerator-Model-10674219400-ID-927868-Duct-Venting-Parts
Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to starttrouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then callinga repair person to do a simple thing for you...

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper)
between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it.
Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it
to run. There is a flap you adjust with
the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust
the fridge temp. The problem could be the electronic control if
you have one or the mechanical linkages.
Check the refrigerant level, using the systems analyzer. From the analyzer, you will know if the high and low side of the compressor has the right pressure. If you don't have the analyzer, then just get the services of the refrigerator/freezer technician to fix it.
You have one of two problems going on. Your fan is spinning at hitting the sides. Or your compressor is shot which seems to be more the problem and even though it is cold the humming sound is a warning for you that the compressor is shot and it is more affordable to replace the fridge then the compressor. Sometimes compressor can cost more then the fridge.
Check the compressor with a volt meter, if the compressor is getting proper voltage then check the relay. But this sounds like a problem with the compressor
between the door and freezer is very hot, and the refrigerator is not that cold and the freezing is freezing but not that well, ice cream is soft but meat freeze and ice is not melting. Also behind the fridge at the bottom is very hot.
