IPod Nano 8gb - Not chraging / resetting / repsonding

Help!

My iPod nano is dead! I have plugged it into different computers to try and get a heartbeat but nothing. It will not reset, I have just spent the last hour trying! I have no idea if it has any charge as it won't turn on or display anything, i tunes does not recognise it as connected.

Can anyone suggest anything to help please?

If it doesn't respond when you plug it to a charger its most likely motherboard problem.

here is the apple warranty and repair service assistant
https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

also here is the ifixipodsfast.com ipod parts and repair service
http://store.ifixipodsfast.com/ - this may be cheaper if your out of warranty.

Did you try another usb cable? It probably is a problem with a faulty cable. You may also try to uninstall/reinstall iTunes. Restart the computer and then restore the iPod.

Blank ipod

Try plugging in to computer first, to see if that will revive it. If not, then use the recovery mode instructions in your manual. The manual is available at Apple's website if you lost it.

8 GB Ipod Nano went dead and now won't charge

does it work on the charger? if not, then contact apple or your dealer for more assistance or repairs.

If it works on the charger, plays music and so on, your battery is probably dead and you need a new one.
