I put one of these motherboards in a backup system of mine. It lasted about 6 months and went out. There are a lot of motherboards that will replace this one. The following are things you will need to look for in a new board: Whether you have a single or dual core P4, the front side bus speed of P4.And what type of ram (The new motherboard would have to run (DDR) since that is what this motherboard uses.) Most of the newer m/b will only have a single ide controller .If you have the need for two controllers you would want to make sure your replacement board has them.
You should be able to find a m/b on line easy. You might want to check
New Egg,Computer Geeks.com,Zip Zoom Fly,or maybe even Fry's.com.
I have found that these usually have the best prices.
