I want to use HP memories disc creator software in combination with Windows 7 (64 bits). Everything is working but in the end when I want to burn the disk, the message is comming that there is no disc...

This might be a case where it is needed to update the firmware of the cd/dvd burner in your computer. As the manufactorer of discs uses better materials, the burner needs to keep up with that.
Find out what brand your burner is by opening the computer. When you know the brand and number of the burner, like f.i. NEC ND-3540A 1.04 search online for your brands support pages. Find out if they have a newer firmware available. On this support site search also for a tool to update the firmware. Download both the tool and the firmware. Mostly it is needed to put both on a usb- stick. Then run the updater and point to the new firmware. Wait till it is done, restart computer, then retry burning a disc.

When i push copy on my DVD burner it says,Target Overflow, what do that means becouse it wont let me burn nothing its a[ TEAC 1 1 DVD/CD duplicator]

It happens to me also ALL the time with mine. I have a 7 disc duplicator machine I do for weddings and special events. And it's a real pain and costly to have that come up when you need the project done soon. My solution is to change the brand on the master disc. Burn another copy of the master disc on your computer to another brand and then use that brand as the new "master" in the duplicator. (1 sollution)

"Target Overflow" basically means that either sometimes the master disc has too much information on it to burn than the disc you want to copy can hold, or sometimes a CD may be in by mistake instead of DVD. If you have a Dual layer DVD disc you want to make copies of and you only have the basic 4.7GB standard DVD blank disc..it's not enough storage space on the disc to burn so you will see that error also. It should really say "not enough space to burn) lol..but I guess that's asking too much.

Sometimes all is correct with the DVD size and it'll come up for no reason (usually the master disc is still spinning and hasn't stopped but you've already pressed the "Copy" button, it's not "ready" so an error of "target overflow" will come up)

I've had mine for 6 years so I've done alot of testing and trial and error to come to the above conclusions.
I find that these brands work for the best "thorough" burns.

UNKNOWN ERROR 2130932483 I get this error message at the end of the DVD burning process (about 90% of the way into the burn) using either Realplayer SP Plus or Nero 7. I am using a Dell E520 and the burner...

Usually means the media is not compatible or is caused due to a bad disc...changing the disc will eliminate the problem...it may be due to a bad brand of disc as well. Look at your disks are they + R or - R, Some burners even though they say +/- they have problems with + R disks and others with - R. Nero 7 and Realplayer have nothing to do with your problem. Try changing your media brand, I have good results with Sony.

Also burning to a folder then disk helps with this problem.

DVD RAM drive does not recognise DVD-R discs

As the prices on these items go down I am afraid the quality sometimes goes down as well. I have personally had 2 DVD burners fail on me in the past 5 years. You can contact LG if it is still under warranty or just replace it. The problem with lower end electronics like burners these days is the price to repair it cost 3x or higher than the cost of a brand new unit.

Dvd burner not working

It sounds like the DVD burner does not have a "write strategy" for the type of disc you are using. This results in the burner and the software having an endless argument about how to go about the burn!
You can either use another brand of disc more compatible with your burner or go to the DVD burner's manufacturer's website and check for "Firmware" updates.
The firmware is the software within the drive that establishes the write strategy for each type of disc and these are often updated.
If you do update the firmware then be sure to read the instructions on the manufacturers website carefully and follow them EXACTLY.

Burning problem

Try different brand. Your Drive is a sensitive type and it only accepts some DVD-R brands. Also try DVD-RW disc. I had the same problem but not specifically the exact problem. My drive is cd writer only. Same problem, I just used diff CD-R brand like Imation and Philips and the burning works like a charm.

Plz help!!!

It sounds to me like it is one of two things. More likely that you are using a very low quality DVD. Yes there is a difference in the media that you put in and too cheap is just that, cheap. Not all the dyes that are put into a disk are equal. You can try to buy better name brand disc and try that as well. The other possibility is the that you are not finalizing the disc once it's been burned. I've noticed that on Nero the defaults tend to favor multi-session discs and use "write at once" instead of "disc at once." So try using the disc at once feature or finalizing the disc to see if that helps. I know that some legacy drives have a hard time with multi-session discs still. I hope that helps. I know my Sony drives works great and I've been very happy with it.
