Konica Minolta Bizhub c351

My copier was asking me to replace the transfer roller unit and paperdust filter/ozone filter. I changed the parts and now it is still telling me to replace the parts. What do I do to get rid of that message and make the machine realize the parts are new?

You have to clear the counters in tech rep mode.
Utility - counter - details- then the following sequence....

stop-0-0-stop-0-1 then press counter - life - then highlight the parts you changed and press the C button, then exit .

Where do I find the Paper Dust Remover/Ozone Filter and the Transfer Roller Unit?

I believe the filter is located on the right or left side. The "Transfer Roller Unit" is the foam roller inside the right door.

I need to replace the Ozone Filter on our BizHub C351 but I am not spotting where it is hiding on the machine? Any clues to lead me to the right spot?

go into service mode. Press the Utility/Counter button on your operation panel, select meter count, then detail, press stop,0,0,stop,0,1. This will put you in service mode. Find and press "COUNTER" button, Locate "LIFE COUNTERS", and clear OZONE filter. Always remember it, have a good time.......

I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub C350 which is now indicating that it needs to have the image transfer roller unite and paper dust/ozone filter replaced. Where are these located in the machine and is it...

I would advise having a copier technician replace those items it is not that hard to do but if you dont get the roller seated in the holder properly it can destroy the transfer belt and that could get expensive

Bizhub C351 Magenta Image Unit Problem

The C531 uses 4 toner cartridges and 4 corresponding imaging units. Each imaging unit has a waste compartment for the residue toner not transferred to the Image Transfer Belt (the waste bottle is for waste from this ITB). The residue toner could be reused.

It does not sound right that after 3-4K pages you have to change the IU. Just to be sure the IU you replaced looks like this?
ef6970d.jpg.

Each IU should last about 50K pages (ie to be replaced after 5 toner cartridges).

Need to know how to reset codes

To reset the life counters for the transfer roller & ozone filter you will need to enter the service mode.

To do this press utilty, meter count, details(if available), then stop, 0, 0, stop , 0, 1.
You should now be in tech rep mode, select counters then life.
Select the transfer roller/ozone filter button and press the C key on the keypad.
It should zero the life count.
Now press end, exit etc until you back at the copy screen.

Warning: Please do not reset or clear any other data within tech rep mode or you may inadvertantly affect the performance of you machine.

Hope this Helps.
