Solution #1...? Anyway, I'm guessing that your problem is that some paper is stuck in your card slot. Lol. I'm going to assume the paper is wadded up. Most tweezers wouldn't fit in a memory card slot, so use something small and pointy(i suggest a toothpick; one of the sturdy ones, not the cheap ones that break like paper matches) to fish it out. Don't use anything metal. you might damage the contacts. BE CAREFUL.

In some devices its push-n-go functionality. Try to push the mem card gently, and see if it comes out slightly.
Else if card is stucked then try forcep it will help you to take out the card.

HP C5180 All-in-one : Memory Card Error, No memory card in it

  1. Remove the memory card from the camera.
  2. Locate the memory card slot on the product that is compatible with your memory card. Figure 1: Memory card slot locations c01331721.jpg 1 - CompactFlash (I, II) 2 - Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard (MMC), Secure MultiMedia Card 3 - xD-Picture Card 4 - Memory Stick, Magic Gate Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo (with user-supplied adapter), Memory Stick Pro 5 - Front universal serial bus (USB) port (PictBridge-enabled)
NOTE: Some portable USB flash drives with a read-only partition, such as U3 smart drives, might be incompatible with the front mass storage port on your product. These partitions are added by the manufacturer and may include utilities and other software. Refer to the manufacturer for additional details about your drive.
  3. If it is not already on, turn the product on by pressing the power button (c01324469.gif ).
  4. Turn the memory card so that the label faces inward and the contacts face the product. Figure 2: Inserting the memory card c01335108.gif CAUTION: Inserting the memory card in any other way might damage the card and the product.
  5. Gently push the memory card into the memory card slot until it stops. The memory card does not insert all the way into the product; do not try to force it.
  6. When the memory card is inserted correctly, the status light next to the memory card slots flashes and then remains solid green. CAUTION: Never attempt to remove a memory card while it is being accessed. Doing so can damage files on the card. You can safely remove a card only when the status light next to the memory card slots is not blinking. Do not pull out a memory card while the light is flashing green.
Step two: Print the photo
  1. Press Photo Menu . A message displays on the control panel with the number of files found on the memory card.
  2. Press the right (c01185072.jpg ) and left (c01185108.jpg ) arrow buttons to browse through the photos on the memory card.
  3. When the photo number you want to print appears, press OK .
  4. After selecting the photos, press Photo Menu again.
  5. Press the right arrow button (c01185072.jpg ) to select Number of Copies , and then press OK .
  6. Press the right arrow button (c01185072.jpg ) to select Layout , and then press OK .
  7. Press the right arrow button (c01185072.jpg ) to select Paper Size , and then press OK .
  8. Press the right arrow button (c01185072.jpg ) to select Paper Type , and then press OK .
  9. Make any other appropriate changes to the settings, and then press Print Photos .

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T5 "C:13:01 Format Error"

I had the same problem, you can solve this by:
1. Push the card multiple times in/out the slot or
2. Use a little bit of contact spray on a small piece of tissue, rap this in the length around the memory card just 1 time. Be carefull not to make it to thick that it get stuck in the slot. Then push the card multiple times in/out the slot or
3. Cut a small strip of waterproof sanding paper (grain: 400 or more - the surface feels just like paper, and is just a thin as paper) just as wide as the card or slot. Cut a strip of plastic (eg.old credit card) also just as wide as the card or slot. Rap the sanding paper in the length of the strip and insert this in and out the slot. But!! ... make sure you stay at the upper side of the contacts, don't worry just do it carefully, don't use force and sand the contacts a couple of times. This way work for me, finally!!

Sd card stuck in memory reader of toshiba laptop

I had the same problem, read some of the proposed solutions and came up with one that worked for me! Here it is: (1) cut a piece of duct tape that is about half the width of the slot and a couple of inches long (2) use a small flat head screwdriver and depress the card down, so that a small gap is created above the card (3) take a second small flat head screwdriver and force the tape into the gap above the card - adhesive side towards card (4) continue to work the tape into the gap so that it covers as much of the card as possible (5) remove the screwdrivers and gently pull on the tape until the card is removed!
