I think you have installed the wrong driver, restart in safe mode by rebooting laptop and tapping F8 key when you see the HP Splash screen, uninstall driver and reboot.

Hello, I have Asus f5z, video card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200. Original Windows Vista, automatic updates always On. And suddenly began go error, screen blinks, and shows "ati stopped responding...

This could either be a problem with the graphics driver, or a problem with the graphics card itself.

Try once more downloading the latest version of the driver from here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-32.aspx and installing it while your computer is running without the graphics driver turned on. Then try re-enabling the graphics driver to see if the updated driver solved the problem.

If updating the driver doesn't work, it's almost certainly a problem with the laptop's video card. If this is the case, you'll want to have it looked at by a professional, or contact Asus support directly to see if they can help you resolve the issue.

Hope this is helpful!

Games crashing and icons on my desktop scattering

hi this does sound like your graphics card has a conflict with another device, your best bet would be to go to the site of your graphics card manufacturer and download the latest drivers for your card, un-install ( actually delete ) the graphics card from the system, ie...add and remove programs, look for drivers for your graphics card, then remove, also go to your device manager and delete it from the hardware so there is no trace of it ( don't worry it will still work it will just default to minimal settings on re-boot) re-boot the system, if it says found new hardware and tries to install your card click no you don't want to install it, then find where you downloaded the drivers and install them and then that should stop the blue screens, games..this also could be the sound card has a conflict with something, as i know allot of games just crash to the desktop for this reason, try doing the same for the sound card, download, remove and install, as above...any more probs just reply and i will see what else there is, if you can also post the blue screen error on here to will be helpful as you can determine what the cause is...hope this helps

I got a blue screen telling that there is a problem with the file

Go to safe mode and uninstall the Graphics drivers and then restart and install the Nvidia Drivers again. Sometimes drivers get corrputed, so this things happens. if ur still getting this, then connect ur monitor directly on motherboards graphics connector and c whether u get this problem again, if ur not getting it means ur graphics card is not good.

Blue screen of death when playing 3d games

How do you connect to the net? wireless? Also, newer drivers dont always mean better. This problem is most likely driver related. Try rolling video drivers back to the earlier version. If connection is wireless, try reinstalling modem drivers also.

Laptop failure

Boot into safe mode by pressing F8 about 10 times during the post screen. Then completely remove your video drivers. Then reboot, into windows normally, go to the Nvidia web site and download the latest graphics drivers for the video card that you have. If this does not solve your problem, then you may have bad video memory on your video card.
