probably that your power supply is not sufficient to handle geforce fx5500. you may try to install the latest driver for this video card or if not, try to check if upgrading your power supply will help
HPw1907 monitor on "built up" computer. Processor is AMD Sempron 2800+(800)S754, Video card is Navidia, Albatron GF FX5500. Operating software is Windows XP home, SP 3.
Factory brightness setting is much too high. Each time that I restart the computer after shut down, I must reset the brightness setting. Immediately after startup, brightness is OK; after a few seconds, the monitor goes into auto adjustment, and goes back to factory setting and I have to reset.
