Do I have to remove the entire Delta kitchen faucet in order to replace the pullout faucet hose? If not, can you give me step by step instructions on how to replace it? Thanks.

Should be able to turn water supply off to faucet and trace the line connecting the pull-out faucet. Remove weight in center on hose line this weight helps retract the faucet head in with the line. Remove it and disconnect the line connection and remove the old one.

Since you are replacing the Delta Faucet Delta 470-BL-DST Signature Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet With Spray faucet, bend the water supply lines out of the way, and then use a standard basin wrench to remove the nut.

Very low pressure on delta 470 faucet

To get full pressure you need to pull the wand away from the base. Then remove the wand from the hose becareful not to loose the washer. When the wand is removed look down the wand you will see a plastic part. That plastic part is a flow restrict-er. You need to put a screw in the restrict-er and pull it out. When it is out put wand back on the hose then you will have full water pressure.

DANCO brand generic hose not connecting to supply

You have to buy a Genuine Delta Part because Delta uses a proprietary quck connect fitting at the end of the hose.

DELTA MODEL 470-WH LOW WATER FLOW AT KITCHEN FAUCET

This could be a couple of things.

  1. First remove the aerator from the wand and make sure you have plenty of flow with it off.
  2. If there is flow clean or replace the aerator.
  3. Remove the wand and look between the hose connection and the wand there should be a screen between them. Remove the screen and clean or replace.
  4. Make sure hose is kinking under the sink.
If you need a diagram of the faucet with part numbers here is the link:
