I can not sign into my gmail account please help me

You could try this:

If you're receiving an error message that says, 'In order to log in to Gmail, your browser must be set to allow JavaScript to set cookies,' we suggest the following:
  1. Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools along the top of your browser window.
  2. Select Internet Options... and click the Security tab at the top of the dialog box.
  3. Click Trusted sites, and then click Sites...
  4. Enter the following sites in the Add this Web site to the zone field:
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
Next, please clear your browser's cache. To clear your cache, visit the Internet Explorer Help Center for instructions.Close all open browser windows, restart Internet Explorer, and sign in to Gmail. If you're unable to sign in, we suggest removing all of your trusted sites in IE, then signing in again.
If you still can't sign in, try signing in securely by changing the URL to https://mail.google.com

Setting your status in Gmail depends on the speed of your Internet Connection. Sometimes when there is a problem with your Internet Connection, you can not set your status in Gmail.

I am using windows 7 but I am unable to install internet explorer

Win 7 will only work with I.E. 8 or 9. You have to disable your virus checker before you can down load and install I.E. 8 or 9.See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917925

Unable to load mail in my gmail acct.

Hi there,

Try first with another browser instead of Internet explorer, try with ex. Firefox portable, if it is not working too then it is not the browser that is wrong, when you do not want Firefox (FF) anymore you simply delete the folder where it is (it does not install it self, but it only copy some files to a folder, that means you can also have it on a USB stick)

Firefox portable link :
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

If you can use FF portable, you have to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) and then install it again and see if it is working.

BTW do you use any Internet accelerators ?? I did have some problems with my Hotmail account, it did not load properly after i installed that.

Hope that helps
IF NOT then try to return here

Have a nice day

Internet explorer

Hi,

Are you using internet explorer (IE 7)? or you are using the internet explorer with an old version. If your internet is unable to load some website you may need to restore its settings. but before doing it, you need to export your favorites first.

1. Open internet explorer then go to file then export your favorites.

2. Click on Tools then internet option, the go to Advance tab

3. for Internet explorer 7(newer version) click on reset. Restore for old internet explorer version.

4. Import your favorites after the restoration.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

/jeff

Error message

The most common cause of this issue is not restarting the computer following the installation of Internet Explorer 7. It seems that if you do not restart Windows immediately after the installation has completed, it causes some side-effects, particularly the error you describe. This may not have been your fault, as the Internet Explorer 7 update may have been automatically downloaded and installed from the Windows Update website. After the update was installed, and you were prompted to restart, you might have elected not to restart (as you did not realise the implications of such) and thus now the program does not work correctly. In this case, the workaround for the issue is to uninstall Internet Explorer 7, through the “Add/Remove Programs” control panel, and then reinstall Internet Explorer 7. Make sure you restart the computer once the installation has completed!

Apart from reinstalling Internet Explorer 7 I was unable to find any other workarounds for the problem. Some users have reported having to reinstall Windows, but this is only in extreme cases. In the worst case, you may have to just uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and go back to using Internet Explorer 6. However, I imagine you might like the new Internet Explorer 7 features such as tabbed browsing. Should this be the case, and you are unable to resolve the problem with Internet Explorer 7, perhaps another alternative is to try Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox). This is a very popular free open-source web browser, with many of the same features (tabbed browsing, RSS integration, etc.). This could be a useful compromise if you are still unable to get Internet Explorer 7 to work correctly.
