I have the model 1000. I was using the citrus attachment when the juicer just shut down on me. No electrical smell or odd odors what so ever. Like someone pulled the plug on it and shut down. What can be my problem?

Hi Abiola, How you dey? Anyway regarding your questions, you should
check the manual guide that came with it, or if the juicer is not a new
one and you don't have the manual.. You can download any of this manual
guide from the link below:
I've looked everywhere for the exact Continental Automatic Citrus
Juicer Model CE22651, but all with no avail. I would suggest you read
other juicers manual, as long as you get familiar with those ones you
will be able to operate any kitchen juicer -- Any Model!!!

If you're talking about the citrus attachment, there may be a problem with the gearing inside. I have one for my Acme which I don't use because of it's awkwardness and juice splattering characteristics. Better off with an inexpensive citrus juicer and leave the Omega to its carrots and apples.
I have the citrus attachment, but never use it because it spits the stuff all over the place. Better off going with a $15 or $20 dollar citrus juicer. Sounds like the inside gearing may have broken and new one is like $50.
REMOVE THE COVER BY ROTATING AND THE CLUTCH NUT HOLDING DOWN THE CUTTING BLADE. EVERYTHING LIFTS OFF. CLEAN ALL DISCOLORED PARTS BY FIRST BOILING IN A SOLUTION OF OXI CLEAN AND WATER, THEN SCRUB WITH A SAFE ABRASIVE SPONGE. SHE WILL SHINE UP NICE.
