It should come with mounting hardware, including screws and anchors. You'll need to:

1. Locate a stud in the wall.
2. Position the hanger where you want it.
3. Mark where the screw holes are.
4. Using a 1/8 in. drill bit, drill pilot holes on the marks you just made.
5. Put the hanger back up to the holes, and insert the screws.

If you have to use wall anchors, these should go in after drilling the pilot holes, but before screwing down the hanger.

If you need any clarification, let me know!

Hope that helps!

Fishman LBX-001 2006 model. I'm having an issue with my guitar amp. It does not get any sound from an acoustic guitar, I tested my guitar in another amp and it works well. I plug an electric guitar into my...

I am no expert about such things but the electric guitar pickups work with steel strings, wouldn't work if the strings weren't steel - the pickup is a coil of wire and the vibration of the steel string generates an output in the coil the amplifier can work with.

The pickups of the acoustic guitar are presumably glorified microphones that would usually work in a similar fashion to the above, by generating an output but if they are active devices they will need a power supply in order to generate an output, something a standard amplifier input will not provide.

An active device either needs an independent power supply to make the device work like a radio needs a battery or the device will create the output by varying the current flow of the voltage applied across it.

I got a yamaha FG180 guitar from a friend with only 2 strings on, so I shall put new strings on it, but I can't figure out the system on this one. How to put the strings on?

seems to be a standard acoustic setup to me. If it doesn't have all the string pins in it, you'll need to get some. you simply pull out the pin, put the string in, then wind it up on the machine heads (tuners) On this one you may need to put the strings through from the inside, I'm not sure about this particular model. I like a double wrap to start on the bass strings, but that's a choice I make. You could go with nylon strings, get ball end, they're easier to use than plain. It takes a bit of know how to do plain, thy have to be wrapped just right on the pins.

What is the proper way to change a string on a guitar so it doesn't slip?

The first thing to remember is that the strings will stretch so i always over tune it about a turn for small strings and 3 for the big strings. To prevent it from slipping when you are tightening the string pull it tight while turning it and make sure the string has overlapped its self a couple times before releasing it.

A string broke--I need a replacement.

Ask at a guitar store, a normal guitar string should be fine, just get them to check the gauge.

Hope this helps!

I just went to change the 9v battery in my eleuke ukulele and i was a bit distracted and accidentally put it in the wrong way. now the electronics do not work. does the ukulele have a fuse which i blown or...

There is no fuse... SOMETIMES the battery contacts get bent when battery is put in backwards due to the shape and size of the two connections. Verify the contacts in the uke are OK. Beyond that have a COMPETENT electronics person check it out. Often these have a protecting diode that prevents damage electronically.

What are the names of the individual strings on the ukulele? A B C etc?

the bottom string which is the highest plays an A then moving up the strings from there, but down the register they go E, then C, then G, but the G should be just one whole step below the original A.

I just got this guitar. I pull the tuner control, strum the string and after the guitar tune itself, the G string still out of tune??

Are you sure you are struming the G string at the right point? One might be able to fool the tuner by triggering a harmonic on the strings or being too aggressive in the strum.

I would pull the peg and see if the string CAN be tuned manually. It is possible the G string is bad or somebody put the wrong string on there.

Remember that strings can be within about 10% of the breaking tension when in tune.

Also it appears that the thing can detune itself to nearby keys. Make sure you have the dial set correct when you pull it out to tune.
