Hi, How do you fill the Honeywell QuickSteam HWM-339. We're babysitting our grandchildren and tried to fill the machine, but it leaked water from the bottom. Our grandson has developed Croup and we want to use it this evening. We can only access the internet at a coffee shop. Thanks, Leona

Linusdog, I guess the original post about the 'fill cap' is missing now, or I can't find it...but question for you:
Does the Magic Bullet gasket get installed between the heating plate and the plastic frame? If so, how exactly is that done? I've taken mine apart but the heating plate stayed wedged in the plastic frame, with a rubber ring that I assume is what you mean needs replacing.
Does this fix a problem where the unit always thinks it's out of water, and so never turns on? The 'out of water' light is constantly on for me, and that's happened in many of these units when that rubber ring gets worn down.
