My globe will no longer show incoming calls or record the phone numbers of incoming calls. The lights are still on and scroll message is just the number of calls on the caller ID. It no longer shows the time and date but just scolls through the number of calls on the ID, and the sign saying "Olympia Infoglobe." I would love to be able to repair this. I can't find another one to purchase. Thanks.

    Reference was mading to using a cable and a service center. Where is the service center. I have already tried resetting the settings on the globe and don't understand how I am supposed to use some sort of PC cable???

Hi,

Your unit has some settings problem.You have to reset the unit.Try resetting the unit.If still the problem persist you have to reset the infoGlobe.txt file using PC interface cable.Which they will do in service centre only.

Remove message of the middle line of display
Pick a spare button and label it CALL LOG. Now press PROG that button and dial 54 STORE. Ooh, it should light up. Now press it and your display will show 3 of the 4 lines of CID info from the calls to your set. The navigator button will show the rest, just keep pressing the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT buttons. When you run out of items to display, the light and INCOMING CALL display will go out.

If you press 54 and the 3 digit number of your incoming call group (maybe 601 by default) it will follow the incoming calls to the entire call group.

Why am I receiving a memory full notification? space.gif space.gif answer.gif Memory full warning notifications are shown once the SMS memory reaches 80% full, which is 80 out of 100 SMS.
The notifications show up every time on receiving a new message. On reaching 100%, "Memory full notification" message is shown and no new messages will be received until we make space for incoming messages by deleting some from the inbox.
Memory full warning notices are shown only if "Auto Erase Inbox" is set to Off in Messaging settings (Menu -> Settings -> Messaging).
If set to On, then these notices are not shown. By default this is set to Off.
