When I start my SCX-4300, printer is OK, but from scanner I can hear sound as ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. & shoes scanner error. this is happening for when i downgraded firmware from 1.21 to 1.13 pls help

Go to TECH mode, doing......(pressing the following keys in serial within 3 secs.)
MENU,copies,<,>,menu,>.
next place a white A4 size paper on platen glass.press MENU scroll to display TESTING press OK, scroll to display SHADING ADJUST press OK . a print out will come.
This will display the status of CIS. if RESULT is OK in the print, Printed at bottom of the page, the printer may work but prepare for the scanner cable (black ribbon type,visible under the platen glass has to be replaced).

there is a problem either in scanner cable or in scanner motor u need to replace it

i think you have upgrade firmware , it is wrong firmware, please use right firmware visit www.nakshatraworld.com

a mecanic problem (noise) is give the error, so need to be opened and clean and lubricate the mechanics

When I start my SCX-4300, printer is OK, but from scanner I can hear sound as ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. It has duration about one minute, than it stop and on display is writing "scanner error". The scanner does not ready, does not work. What can I do with the problem?
