Hoover Dishwasher HD95M leaks on start up from bottom right front corner. Leaks when initially being fed from water feed.

Water (cleaning solution) is gravity fed to the floor cleaning brushes, but the attachment hose is fed from a small pump. If it only leaks when turned on and operating, check the pump for leaks at the pump itself or the connecting hoses.

run it with no soap. if you get no leaks then cut back on your soap. you may need to run washer a few cycles to get rid of excess soap.

The line going into the dispenser is a 5/16 line. You'll have to remove the front of the dispenser on the door to get access to the line to unclip it. Once you have that done you can pull the line out from the bottom. At this point there are a variety of different unions, compression fittings, etc. to splice the line. After that you just feed the line back through the bottom of the door, clip it back in place, put the dispenser back together and your done.

This could be a safety trigger due to bottom water leak. A anti flood device (polystireen float and micro switch) that switches washer in shut off mode and does not continue until the water leak (pipe or hose clamp) that causes the float to trigger the device. Check the bottom of the washer for traces of water and rectify any leak before the washer will continue.

hi dave. actually you are supposed to fill a dishwasher with hot water only.

the long term fix for your gravity feed water system would be a shallow well pump.

1. make sure dishwasher is level front to back and side to side.
2. check the main washer arm (WD22X154) on the bottom side for leaks. If you use heated dry, the heating elements can cause the part of the spray arm directly over it to soften and eventually leak. When water comes out that leak it can spray at the bottom of the door, splashing water inside it and resulting in your leak.
3. if 1 and 2 OK, watch how you load the lower rack. If dishes or a bowl direct water from the lower wash arm to spray against the bottom of the door, especially at the center of the door bottom, the resulting splash inside the door allows water to hit the outer door panel and drip out a one or both corners of the door.

Themain tub seal is beneath the drain impeller. It prevents the water inthe dishwasher from leaking out near the shaft of the motor. To get tothe seal, which is inside the dishwasher, remove the:

• Lower rack



• Spray arm



• Spray arm support



• Wash/drain impellers

Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it.

If you have nuisance water leaks around the base of your dishwasher, you may be using a detergent that is sudsing too much. Also make sure the dishwasher is sitting level (you can adjust the front feet up or down and many units have some type of levelers at the rear). Water under the dishwasher may be originating from a leaky hose or loose hose connection. Remove the lower front panel and check the hoses. The pump seal may be defective, too; replacing this is a job for an appliance repairperson. An older dishwasher may corrode at the bottom, but this is fairly uncommon. If this is the case with your dishwasher, it's time for a new one.
