Hello friend, thanks for your post!

I see that the indicator for your cooktop continues to remain on for your Frigidaire range. It sounds like it could be a potential issue with your switches or control panel. I would recommend a reset on your range which you can do by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hi,

If aluminum foil is stuck to the element, you might try turning oven temperature to highest setting for a while to see if the heat will cause the remaining foil to burn off the element. If it is a self-cleaning oven, perhaps the extreme heat will incinerate the foil during the cleaning operation. Another option might be to heat oven at low heat, wear heat proof mitt, and try to gently scrape away aluminum foil. If in doubt, contact your manufacturer and/or repair person.

It is always best to refer to owner's manual for operation, maintenance, and cleaning instructions.

Is there anything else i can help you with??

Stove top will not heat oil hot enough to fry foods. Burner continues to re-cycle on and off while switch is on high. Burner gets red hot for a few seconds then turns off for a few seconds, then back on.

You may have a cracked element, they expand when heated and cause a separation in the element. You really have to put a voltmeter on it to test it under load. If the voltage remains constant while the element is heating and cooling, then indeed you have a bad element.

If you don't have a voltmeter, or don't want to perform this test, buy a heating element and replace it, if you have the same problem, you'll have a spare element
