The gigabyte doesn't turn on when i press or hold the on button?

Press and release the Power button to turn on the
operation system. Press "-" to enter into GIGABYTE
System Recovery. Use Directing Hot Key to operate
GIGABYTE Smart Recovery.

Look at the bottom of the monitor screen, when the manufacturer logo comes up

Gigabyte?

Look for -> enter BIOS Setup <- and the key to press

If Windows loads, let it load. Then turn the computer off normally.
(WinXP: Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off )

If Windows does NOT load, press the CTRL key, ALT key, and DELete key AT THE SAME TIME. (Not shouting)

Or press the Power On button, and hold in for a count of 10 seconds.

Now...........
AS SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on that enter BIOS Setup - key.

Tap in 2 second intervals.

If you hear beeps ignore them.
They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and it is you that is doing it

This method will get you into BIOS Setup.

If the printer powers on and stays Idle with HP logo screen, you try reset the printer as below (try next step one after the other, if it doesn't fix)

Power Drain:

• Turn OFF the printer, disconnect the power cable from backside of the printer and from wall outlet.
• Press and hold the Power button for 60 seconds.
• Connect the cable and turn ON the printer.

Partial Reset

• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "#" and "3" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.

Semi-Full reset

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "#" and "6" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
• Insert the ink cartridges.

NVM Reset

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "OK" and "Cancel" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
• Insert the ink cartridges.

According to your problem it is a carriage error, meaning something was jamming the cartridge carriage at some point. Check first if stuck paper anywhere clear it and then try to reset the printer.

You can try to reset it to factory mode by following the steps below:

Turn off the printer.

Press and hold the ON button while pressing the Stop button.

When the Power LED lights in green, while holding the ON button, release the Stop button.

While holding the ON button, press the Stop button 2 times, and then release both the ON and Stop buttons.

The printers turns into a kind of factory mode, wait for about 10 seconds, until it says "Idle"

Press the ">" (next to the "OK" button) once.

Press the "OK" button.

Press "OK" again for "Without cleaning"

then try to print.

remove cmos battery , shot metal pins on the borard (that use 2 connect battey ) for 3 sec reconnect battery , will be ok

I think holding down menu and the record button at the same time should fix it. I read the best solution and it just turned on. I was having the same problem, mine would not turn on either but just try pressing and holding down the record and menu button for about 5 seconds.

To perform a soft reset, please follow the steps below.
1.Press and hold the ?Mode? button in.
2.While holding ?Mode? press ?Lap? also.
3.Hold both ?Mode? and ?Lap? together for around 5-7 seconds.
After you have done this release the buttons and try turning the unit on. If the unit doesn?t turn on try putting it on the charger and repeat.

If your iPod nano won’t turn on or respond
1) Make sure the Hold switch is off.

2) If that doesn’t work, connect iPod nano to your computer’s USB or FireWire port. Your
iPod nano battery might need to be recharged.

3) If that doesn’t work, your iPod nano might need to be reset.

a) Toggle the Hold switch on and off (set it to Hold, and then turn it off again).
b)Press and hold the Center and Menu buttons for at least 6 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
