Windows vista is the most modern innovation in computer systems. Vista has the wireless also known as wifi an improvement over the network adapter devices. Windows vista computer can teleconferece with network adapters only requires that the adapter be a modern innovation to meet the new features in vista computers. The KNE 100TX is an outdate version communication device comparted to the computer with Vista. The adapter would continue to fucntion only when an older version computer either windows millennum, 2000, 98 were used to derive networkc connectivity.

Have you checked the drivers for the usb adapter. plug it in and go to my devises and up date driver see if that fixed it. vista software may have a problem as they are not updating there software files. but win7 is fine has same filing as xp.

Kne111tx driver

That sounds like a pretty old card. Do you have any problems with performance?

A newer card might have much better on-board processing and might not be very expensive.

Try

You have to connect to your network without using wireless then u have to go to the linksys website and download the windows 7 driver. Install that driver then u can connect with wireless. Worked for me! Gl.

Dell Dimemsion 9100 cannot connect to internet. Windows cannot repair the problem. Tried Windows and Dell drivers for network adapter with same results. Yellow caution sign on network icon.

Hi there

I can understand your issue.

When you same yellow caution i believe the network driver is not installed properly. To resolve this issue please go to device manager.

Locate for the network adapter and click on + sign to explore it.
Below that you can see your network device name, right click on and click uninstall.

Then reboot the computer and that will try to install the network driver ( It works in XP & VISTA). Cause XP & VISTA has the ability to load the default driver.

Then try to reinstall it and that should work.. If still the same issue kindly revert.......

I have a dynex wireless network adapter and i cant run it on windows 7 because drivers are for windows xp and vista when are new drivers coming out?

They probably won't create them...that is unless hordes of people request them.

Have you already tried using the Vista drivers? Lots of times they'll work in Windows 7.

Let me know what happens and we'll try to figure something out if that doesn't work.

My wireless network adapter's device driver doesn't work

Download the latest drivers for XP or Vista

Note: If you can't find Vista drivers for Vista use XP drivers.

Uninstall the driver from XP or Vista.
If you have PCMICA adapter card in laptop remove it.
Reboot the PC

Note: If the network adapter is built-in laptop or PCI (desktop) leave it along.

Re-install the drivers and wait for the driver to tell you when to install the device if you have this option and don't have PCMICA card adapter for wireless.

If the card still doesn't work it could be faulty or OS is corrupted and needs to be re-installed. (this would be the last step to fix the problem)
