Hi,

The process generally involves disconnecting the network cable from your printer, and holding and pressing buttons in a certain combination, usually involving the power button and a cancel button, to reset the factory settings and return the printer to its default mode.

try this.
Hold down the power button for five seconds to power it on. If it will not power on, see There appears to be no power to the Printer - all lights are off. What can I do?. If an error message is displayed on the control panel refer to the user guide supplied with your product or search the Epson website for a solution.

most likely clogged, try taking out the printhead and soaking it in alcohol (rubbing that is) overnight. or get a sirynge and inject alcohol in the tube

If you have Genuine Epson cartridges and they do not work, call Epson Tech Support. You have to be patient [they're in India] and you may have to ask to speak to someone in the US if you're getting nowhere with TS.

Epson Stylus sx100 print cartridges. Compatibility
The chip on some of the compatible cartridges is not always reset and can show this sort of problem. Buy a chip re-setter (pretty cheap) and hopefully then they will work.
