Question about Emmaljunga Viking Plus Stroller

1 Answer

Desparate to find the two knobs that control the stroller hood attachment and angles that I lost in a move. I bought my buggy/stroller combo emmulunga new in 1989 in the US. WHERE oh WHERE can I find replacement knobs? They were white plastic, but I would take anything that works, and would pay well to get up and running for my grandchildren. Thanks!

If you can't find the knobs anywhere then you may need to make your own. This can be achieved by cutting 2 circles out of wood or metal and drilling a hole in the middle to place a screw in to fab a knob. You can do this I have faith in you.

When in 'swivel' mode front wheel turns wildly making it difficult to control and even stops the buggy when the wheel 'stick' at right angles to the buggy

In normal use, the front wheel needs to swivel freely - then this stroller's drive is easy and manageable with one hand (we know from extensive use with 2 kids and shopping on board).

The front wheel normally can not collide with the car. If the wheel assembly / lock is not correctly inserted, it can lock / unlock uncontrolled: try to disengage and mount the front wheel unit again.

Unsufficient tire pressure can also detoriate the drive.

I have a grey Maclaren Techno XT umbrella stroller. Plastic rainprotection was included when we bought it. Can't figure out how to put it on though, and we don't have the maunal anymore. Can anyone help us...

hi have you figured this out?

if not here goes
open up raincover there should be a flap towards the top this just hooks on the front of the hood and should have 1 hole either side which pop over stud on the hood the rest of the cover will fall to footrest of buggy where it will attatch to the frame at the bottom.

here is a picture with it fitted to the buggy

Hi I am trying to remove the handle on my phil

Put a screwdriver into the screw on the one side & hold the little grey attachement on the other, its only possible if you remove the seat and hood attachement first. Pull them over it so they are free from the little grey attachment. Hope this makes some sense...

Have you managed to fit the carrycot already

Hi,

If this is the same as the UK model then you should make sure that you remove the hood of the pram (not the carrycot hood) as this makes life so much easier. You could contact www.mountainbuggy.com so that they can send you a manual.
When you attach the carrycot, there should be a clip either side of this to attach to the chassis, these clips snap shut when aligned correctly with the chassis.

I hope this helps.
