To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit.
With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for at least 15 seconds.
Release the button and the router will go through its reboot process. Wait about 30 seconds to access the router.
The default IP address is 192.168.0.1.
When logging in, the username is admin and leave the password box empty. The router is now reset to it's factory settings and should be configured again.

How to lock this wifi router ????

Login in using your browser and go to the wireless settings and set-up a wireless password/key. Remember the key because each device will now need it to connect. You can also turn OFF Broadcast SSID and your network name will not be shown on anyone's device. You must remember the network name when using this method.

My Kobo Arc 32, asked for a password, when I tried to try the WiFi. I don't remember setting a password. So, now it's asking for an guest password.

It is not the Kobo that has set the password, rather the router for the wifi that you are trying to connect to. You just need to know the password for the router to let you connect. If a router has no wifi password, it is considered unsecured and ANYONE can access it. So most all routers use password protection. If it is YOUR wifi system, and you no longer know the password, you can change it if you access the router setup for wireless and change the password. Be advised, however, that all devices that connect to the wifi will need to change their passwords as well or not be connected. If it is not your wifi you are trying to connect to, then you need to obtain the wifi password from that wifi system's administrator.

I just purchased a Nook eBook and I need my WiFi password to make it work. How can I create and reset a new password?

I assume you already have WiFi, if you don't, I suggest going out to wal-mart and buying a cheap wireless router to get you started. Then the instructions should explain how to get the password set up.
If you already have WiFi and the problem is that you forgot your password, then this should be able to be fixed easily if you know or have not changed the password for your WiFi router. Below is a set of steps to resolve the issue. The only requirement is a computer connected to the same router via WiFi or Ethernet.
1. Open Command Prompt (in windows) or open Terminal (in Mac OSX) 2. In the command line, enter "ipconfig" and press enter. 3. Look for Default Gateway and remember the corresponding IP Address. (Format: ###.###.###.###) It might look like 192.168.2.1 but not necessarily. 4. Remember that IP Address (write it down, copy it, do something). 5. Open your favorite web browser and enter that IP Address into the URL box. 6. This should ask you login, if it doesn't, skip step 7. 7. use the username that you set up the router with, or if you didn't change it, try using "admin" as the username and "admin" as the password. Try not using a password. If you still can't figure it out, use google to try and find the default password for your brand of router. 8. Once logged in, you can restore factory settings, or change your WiFi Password.

Having more information would have been helpful. (Aka - Router Brand, Is it your router, are any computers connected to it) Hope this was helpful.

I reset router to factory now how do i set up a password so people cant use my wireless internet

Logon to the router as described in the instructions.
Go to the wireless security section and select WPA-2 encryption/security.
Set a strong password. The stronger the password the more secure you WiFi network will be.
This will help you make a strong password: http://www.pctools.com/guides/password/
Your wifi devices should remember the password so you should only have to enter it once for each device.
