You will need to take this television to get it repaired. This problem is so common that I expect it to happen to all flat panel tvs and urge people to keep extended warranties until they are ready to purchase another television. The repair person is going to test all of the boards. From opening the rear of the television he will be able to see if any of the capacitors are bad. Unfortunately by the time the television has gone completely into a coma and the green light is blinking and it won't come on, the power supply needs to be repaired/replaced along with the motherboard. The motherboard part itself can cost around $300 itself and to repair the power supply it can cost $150 for the labor but even more if it is replaced.
