Hi all the settings in the mms profile have disappeared and now i can't send or recieve pictures.hope you can help

Changing MMS settings:
  • To Change MMS settings:

    • Goto Multimedia messages Menu > Settings
    • Select Setting category and change the settings.
  • if you follow the steps you can easily got it..

HI jcosby007 Ok you need to get to the menu settings on the phone. Power cycling really doesn't help you in this case. Once you get to mms settings you need to hit the options. In the options it should give you a viewing options for your messages. You need to set it to time and make sure it doesn't say contacts. Also make sure that the phone isn't block by att from recieving mms txts. those are picture messages. Hope this help

My samsung b3310 won't send pictures. When I try it says "service unavailable" and when i want to recieve pictures too...please help!!
Hi,

To send and recieve picture you need to activate MMS service.

To activate MMS ,You need to contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office.
They will send you the settings for your model.You will receive service settings in the special text message called as smart message. Please save the settings to your phone and set it has a default settings.Then you can start using the MMS in your phone.

I can recieve picture messages but i can not send them. It says message rejected? it is the at&t phone unlocked for t-mobile. Is there any help?
go to messages from main menu, messaging settings, mms profiles, make sure AT&T MMS is selected

Wont send mms txts on my LGKS 360
Yes, if don't have any mms settings or mms profile set, you can't send/recieve MMS.

To get the settings contact your service provider.
They will send you a push message or will manually dictate you the settings.

Unable to send and recieve picture messages
hi

firstly contact your operator and request for sending you the mms activation settings once you receive them as a message save them on the phone now you are ready to send and receive MMS messages

now to the part of sending an MMS
go to messages click on the
  • menu then New then MMS
  • now key in the addresse in the TO part and in the msg body
  • go to select insert Picture/ Video to insert a picture or video from your gallery
  • similarly if you want to add text select the text
  • also the same for audio
you can select all or any of the picture/ text/ audio and send as an MMS

LG renoir Cant recieve mms
1. From main screen tap the messaging icon at the bottom of the
screen. LG-Renoir info
2. Scroll the screen up and tap Messaging settings.
3. Tap Multimedia Message
4. Scroll down and tap multi msg centre
5. Tap the bottom left icon and tap Add New
6. At Title tap and enter TMobile
7. for MMSC URL enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
8. than save and activate the profile.. I think this should work. I just did it to mine cause I was having same problem it is now saying its sending so we shall see what happens lol

The MMS settings for picture messages must be incorrect, who is your phone service provider? have you already given them a call? I'm pretty sure I can find the details for you.

Lg me770 shine. how do i set up to have mms
i used this for mine. it works alright for recieving and sending. but im still having trouble recieving from black berries.
go to menu
settings
connectivity
network
network profile
name: media net
bearer: GPRS
APN: wap.cingular
user ID: blank
password: blank
primary server: 0. 0. 0. 0
secondary server: 0. 0. 0. 0
then press ok.
now go to menu
messaging.
message settings
multimedia message
network profile
profile name: Cingular MMS
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
internet mode: http
proxy ip: 066.209.011.032
proxy port: 80
connection: media net

I cant send nor receive pictures
Hi Kim, Contact your provider and ask them to send you there WAP and MMS settings, usually when you recieve theese you switch off your phone, power it back up and YOU need to send a picture to activate the MMS settings with your provider. Good Luck!
