Debbiealexis,

You have a bad color wheel. It will need to be replaced. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4160054-replace_color_wheel_in_dlp_projection_tv which explains the problem, where to get the best quality parts at the best price and how to perform the repair.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating. Please consider a testimonial. Thank you.

After sitting for a week or so during extremely cold weather, my 1995 Nissan Altima was hard to start. When I did get it started, it was making a loud rattling sound. The noise doesn't go away, but i

rattling sounds like a busted rocker and the valves are loose. when it doesn't start on the first try or so, that sounds like a head gasket. they tend to start better when its hot because it swells some and improves compression. I had a dodge do that but it will only get worse if that's what it is. If you don't get it fixed now you'll eventually warp the heads and be looking at a head job or worse a new car cause its terribly expensive to fix the longer it goes

Make and year of manfacture they hopefully can help you with this
