Fridge not cold compressor running fine sides are warm to the touch, enough ventilation bottom freezer and top fridge setting at maximum cold both freezer and fridge fan are working with an external 12V power supply, but unable to determine if the fans are working when connceted to the freezer/fridge wiring. if the freezer back plate is taken off, evaporator coil seemed to be cold and there is a thin rime is forming.

The evaporator fan motor will run only when the compressor is running. If the temperature is too warm in the refrigerator, there may be something blocking the opening from the freezer to the refrigerator.

Remove the rear lower panel on the unit check to see if the compressor is hot or if its running, should feel the vibration, also listen for any clicking noises.

Fridge gets cold air from freezer to cool it. Your freezer is fine but not enough cold air is getting into fridge compartment. U have some dampers or louvers that direct air flow to fridge and if they are not set properly cooling will not be adequate. Check those out.

This is a little strange to hear but something caused the vibration. Closing the doors hard or soft may make big changes in sound because of pressure change. I just want to know if the compressor is purring away without overheating. Anytime there is a restriction in ventilation the evaporator fan will struggle to push the air to the freezer and enough to refrigerator side to maintain safe temperatures. On the bottom even if the fan stopped the bottom would work because it is below and cold is heavier than warm. checklist: freezer fan running, compressor fan running, compressor running, any frost buildup on back wall of freezer. you may have to take a rag and touch the compressor to feel if its vibrating to see if its running unless you can hear it. please reply

sounds like the circulation fans are jammed/seized or faulty -try a full defrost and see what happens after that.

sounds like compressor might not be running. pull unit out and remove bottom panel to access compressor area. beware of electrical wiring!!!! touch compressor to see if it warm. make sure fan motor by compressor is running.

you may be low on freon..thats one thing about fridges if you are low one side will still stay cold while the other side gets warm

Thre is a fan inside the freezer which circulates the cold air around both the fridge and the freezer compartments.
You should be able to feel cold air blowing around the inside, particularly at the top of the freezer.
If the defrost thermostat fails open, the internal fan (depending on freezer) will stop and this can be the cause of the freezer being warm at the top and no ice.
You say the bottom of the freezer is blowing cold, but are you sure its blowing, as it can feel like a cold blow. Of course the fan could have failed or may be the defrost heater itself.

1. check the comp. working touch the top of the comp. 2.if the motor comp. working touch the high side tube of the motor comp. if to hot the freon is ok. 3. check the cooling fan inside.
