Question about Brother HL-2040 Laser Printer
Try with another toner cartridge, if no result you have to disassemble laser module and clean it with cloth and alcohol.

> click on "start--> control panel--> printers and faxes"
> select the printer icon associated with your printer and delete it.
> now plug the usb cable to the printer
> wait for few minutes while all the drivers are installed.
thats it... now try to print... it should be resolved

I just had tech from Canon and replace a part that took hime 5 minutes. He said that the part replaced allows the image to appear on paper and it was a common issue.

I believe this will solve your problem. It did for me.
delete your printing device and reinstall,
when it asks for your driver, let it search for it.
When your options come up, find "HP" then look for "HP Officejet 7200"
DO NOT install "HP Photoprinter 7200".
This should take care of it.

If it can print from the internet, it is working properly. I would disconnect the printer from the computer, uninstall the drivers and reboot twice. Reinstall the drivers and hook up the printer when instructed. Make sure that you select this as the default printer. (unless, of course, you have another as default)

Then click Print Preview on the Standard toolbar to view the document as it will be printed and verify that there is no longer a blank page at the end of your document
