I am having sony bravia klv w 300a .this unit start and then immediately goes in the stanby mode. it does not start up and remains in stanby mode. pls help

6 flahes indicates a panel error possibly the backlight controller

I have same problem with klv-32t550a i thinkk this is a error of display card

On the original SONY remote press display to remove that---if left on long enough it will actually burn that image into the screen--button on almost any Sony Tv remote will remove or clear it.

I know its a 32 inch TVand its probably about 2 years old, give or take. If you got a warranty on it, I suggest calling whoever you got it from (BestBuy,Amazon, etc) and seeing what they can do for you to get it fixed for free. Otherwise call Sony abotu getting a real tech out to either fix or swap parts on the TV at your house, or where to send it for repair. Depending on what it costs, you are probably better off buying a new 32inch LCD TV for about $400.

It seems you have isolated it down to the power supply though. If you are confident enough, you can get a replacement on ebay for abotu $100.

Just depends on what you value more: time or money.

standby light flashing is an indication that tv needs service. it prevents the tv from further damage. go to www.eservice.sony.com to check service options

Hi,the problem is from the fuse in the tv,it's blown and it's a means of in-built security against power fluctuations from damaging the unit,so the solution is to replace the fuse of the TV to restore your unit back to a normal working condition.

tv smoked and will not power on

My TV (Sony Bravia LCD KLV-32S310A) goes of after 20 seconds when it is switched on. The standby indicator then flashes (red) five (5) times then there is a two seconds break followed by another six flashes then two seconds break etc. What might have caaused this and what should i do?
