It's called system chocked. Remove all gas. Remove filter drier. Flush out the system and then replace new filter drier. Vacuum and do gas charging. Thanks. It's helpful?

It depends what temperature is outside and whats been done to ac syst! Preasures should be if 134a low at 32psi to 45 and hi side from 175 to 250psi the hotter weather higher preasures the colder the lower preasures! if around 70 deg out low side 32 n hi 174psi ! you may have a expansion valve clogged or orifice tube clogged! Extreme high side pressure, coils are clean. I have a 19 degree split on supply air and discharge air. 72 on low 270- 285 on high. high side line not warm at all.

Sounds like you have restrictions in your refrigerant circuit. Could be a kinked line, blocked expansion valve or contaminates in the refrigerant or even a blocked filter dryer. A service call will required to find the cause of the problem and correct it.

What should the pressures on the low and high side of the air conditioner read ?

low side should be about 30 psi at idle speed, high side 120 to 180 psi depending on ambient temp. higher temp, = higher pressure, as you increase engine rpm to say 1000 low side should drop to 10 to 15 psi & high side should increase about 30 psi. If high side goes over 280- 300psi you have contamination (air) in system or over charged with refrigerant. you will need to recover freon, evacuate & recharge system with proper amount of refrigerant. If the low side drops below 0psi or into vacuum then the refrigerant level is low, you will have to check for leaks , repair leaks & refill refrigerant.
Hope this helps

Supply air is 74 degrees???????? low side

Because you have a ductwork problem. Look for leaks in the supply lines or a dirty coil not allowing sufficient airflow.

Where is the air conditioner sensor in ford fusion

There are a few sensors or as i call them switches, the low preasure/cycling sw. and the high preasure switch (sw.) theres a temp sensor inside the heater box on the evaporator core, the switches are located on the lines one is on the suction line and the other is on the high preasure line.

ok now you said, the system was checked to be sure the refrigerant level was full . It could also be over full causing a over preasure shutdown. The compressor has a low and high pressure switch, that will disengage the compressor clutch if it senses a over or under preasure situation to protect the system.Did you check to see if the compressor clutch was Engaging and will it stay Engaged or disengage and keep cycling like that? you Will need to get the preasures on the high and low side of the compressor from a gauge manafold set and please record the outside temp. it will change the preasures in the a/c system than i can better help with the issue you have. also a/c will always work better if recirculated air is used, because it is already cooler than out side super heated air.

my name is ron and if you get the preasures for me i will be glad to check the preasures to My R-134 refrence card

1999 Mercury Marquis air conditioner blows hot air. did red dye leak test. ck'd all fuses and relays. recharged but still blows hot air. could it be one of the two switches?

yes it could be, do an resistance and continuity check on each switch to see if one is malfuncting. it could also be the wiring to the compressor high and low preasure switches. if the system is still low opr over filled on refrigerant the low or the over Psig. preasure switch will not alow the compressor clutch to engage, or will try to than disengage quite quickly to protect the system. you need to get a gauge set hooked up to the high and low side of the compressor to get actual readings to know if the system is low , high or in between operating perameters.
