I have a 1992 eagle talon tsi im trying to hook up stereo

there is a "remote" wire that turns it on-sounds like you hooked it up to your lights. It needs to be hooked-up to the ignition so your radio turns off and on with the engine. Your power wire can go to the battery if you absolutely can't figure out which 1 it is that old radio used, but the remote wire must be hooked up right to turn it off so you don't leave it on and run the battery down.

Care stereo

Your gonna need to find out your trucks wiring schematics to get this one going. Get a copy of a Chilton/Haynes manual (free at a local library) and scope out the dash/stereo wiring diagrams for the truck. Go to Pioneer's website and enter in your cd player model info etc to get its wiring info.
