Hitachi l32hp04u a my tv standby light keeps flashing red and blue also when it turns on sometimes it turns back to standby within 10 seconds

Hello coopa mark, usully it indicates on a powwer suplly problem.
some times its a bad capacitors

    more info: sometime the capacitores inflated at the top when they are not good ,in other case its a bad component like diode, transistor, optocapler or ic- testing is required. when its too complicated the power suplly need to be changed. good luck

Try unplugging the tv. And holding the power button for 45 seconds or more to purge the circuits. Plug it back in cross your fingers. And turn it on.

I have a hitachi television L32HP04U A that won't come out of standby. When switched on it the LED will light blue and then blink blue and red.

Probably you should just disable the Standby feature, though it also depends on why it's in Standby. On some TVs, it's when it's been left on and idle for a certain period of time- basically the TV will turn itself off, or go into a lower powered state. It's possible it will not come out of it because the TV could be overheated, and needs time to go back to normal. Without know the specifics as to why the Standby happens I couldn't say, and it's also hard to say what the issue is with it coming out of it.

Go into the TV Menu and find Power Options. Set Power to Normal, or Quick Start (or whatever Hitachi calls it). If this is separate from the Standby Options, then disable the Standby option on its own.
