Freezer smells really really bad even though i have clean it all through how do i clean the thing that looks a bit like this inside freezer lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

pull the panels inside and check the fan usually in a fridge freezer the fan cacks out or is full of ice clean it out and clean the overflow tube if fridge is cold enough then it is the freezer fan

Ventilation is the key here. I have had the same issue with my upright freezer in my conservatory (Which gets stupidly hot).

Make sure that there is good air circulation around the unit and that the cooling matrix is clean and dust free. Beyond that, you may find that a desk fan pointed at the cooling matrix to increase the air circulation may help - It has helped with mine, though I suspect that in the end, I'm going to have to move it to a cooler place.

Have it clean and use a appliance cleaner that has fragrance to smell it good again.
You must eliminate the source of horrible smell.
Then apply the cleaner on rags, wipe it around the freezer exterior.
Some freezer do have pan and some don't have, so you should look for it carefully.

This is just an idea. the sounds may just be age.. some systems are louder than others and some that are noisy become quiet. But the smell concerns me. It may be that there is something in the cooling fins that is producing the smell. The air from the outside does not directly go into the freezer so I don't think the mouse is the issue. Problems like this usually end up coming from the insulation inside the walls of the freezer. But since you have no history of the freezer loosing power and fish going bad I can suggest anything...If you have any easy access to the inside of the freezer try and take a look. One way to possible clean the smell is to put a bunch of charcoal briquettes on some cookie sheets and put those inside the freezer for a day or two. then switch them out... also you can put a pan of armor hammer backing powder down inside and change that every other day. good luck

i think where you find bad smell rust colour object in near of comressor its sign of comressor oil and there is leak after the leak that oil has been come out please contcet to your service technician for reweld that leakage and refill refrigarant in your freezer , i hope after that problem will be solve . and freezer will being work batter.

I have found that the best cleaners for removing left over odors are citrus based cleaners. They help to neutralize odors and prevent re-occurrence. You could also use a diluted bleach as well to sanitize the inside. Make sure it is not too potent or the bleach odor will overcome the bad odor in annoyance.

Well an old remedy is to put a box of opened arm and hammer baking soda in the freezer and fridge to keep it from having bad odors.If that doesn't work you can try some charcoal it is perfect for absorbing odor, just don't use the matchlight kind or it will smell like lighter fluid.

My next question is, you say you have to call a tech to come out. Is he doing something? And if so, what? With the limited info I have at this time, it sounds like there may be a refrigerant problem. Let me know so we can continue. Am looking forward to resolving this.

if it is an electronic control freezer then the electronic control sounds as though it has failed if there is no digital read out
