Air conditioner goes on for about ten minutes then shorts the electric circuit it is connected to.

Starts running and after about ten minutes trips the circuit breaker anf nthe shuts off. This is the PLM14000EH.

The clunk is the valve operating. It is either defrosting itself or it's got a loose connection on the pcb

I have never seen a fuss or circuit breaker in the ceiling of a RV. turn power off or unplug the RV and check all electrical connections to the air conditioner. It may be a lose connection.

You should first look in the instruction/operation manual usually in the back pages for trouble shooting or code faults (errors). There should be a list of faults such as E1, E2, E33, E44 etc. and an explanation of each code. If you cannot find this info, call the manufacture ; they will tell you exactly what the E1 fault code stands for and possibly what will correct it. Ask for technical support. The fact that it runs for 10 minutes and stops; if you unplug it or turn the control to off, will it start again when you reenergize it ? This could indicate low voltage from the electric source. Are you running it with an extention cord or is the electric circuit line a very long run and robbing power before it gets to the unit? Have you checked the filter so that it is clean enough for good air flow, otherwise the unit will detect the low air movement from a dirty filter and shut itself down.

1、Check whether the resistance of the sensor is
normal (the resistance is 5Кω in the normal
temperature 25℃), when it is abnormal the sensor
should be replaced.
2、Check whether there is short circuit or open circuit
in the wire of the sensor, and whether the plug is
connected well, whether there is welding off or
rosin joint on the electric control board, if there is
any, it should be repaired.
3、When the 1 and 2 are both normal, then the
components or integrated circuit is damaged, the
electric control board should be replaced.

Check amperage while unit is running.

possibl ac compressor clutch problem,cooling fan at rad not working so ac goes into high press mode and turns off(so it doesn,t blow system apart,built in safety)not enough r134 in system(low charge)

if you can find a decent a/c mn in the area he might be able to patch you up until you get to an authorized dealer?
