Heater less than 1 year old. Worked fine 3 days ago; tried turning on tonight and got a "E01" in display. Anyone know what that might mean?

At some point you have to cut your losses, this is the reason I suggest getting an extended warranty with coverage (including the maker) of 3 years, 80 of the 140 sets in our shop are less than 3 years old, if this set had that they would have to fix or replace the set----One reason I choose to answer your question (I do this here for free) is this set ought to have a error buffer, when set fails it will count the event and that also indicates where the issue is.

Most of the Sony sets for the last decade with set off and using the Sony remote: Display, 5, vol down, and POWER will if set comes on bring up a display with a number of shortened items listed----they should all if the set has this be a zero. Any with a number indicates a issue and the number indicates the number of times this event has happened.
