My logitech mouse has a blinking orange light one it

Red light on top of the mouse even after changing the battery. I put a brand new battery , problem still occurs. Here is how I fixed that problem (Orange blinking, then red light) on this Logitech MX mouse.

Remove the battery of the mouse
Insert the Radio USB dongle into the PC, power it.
Close the lid of the mouse
Insert new battery into the mouse
Click and hold the RIGHT button of the mouse.
While continue holding, power up the mouse by opening the lid.
Check the control led on top of the mouse, it should stay dark.
Wait around 7 or 8 seconds, it turns then solid Green.
Release the mouse button, start using the mouse. Here is how I fixed that problem (Orange blinking, then red light) on this Logitech MX mouse.
