When trying to pair iPhone 4 with Parrot LS3200 I only get a P as the pin code

this kit needs new software and can only be done using a special parrot software update cable, contact your nearest parrot engineer but not all of them have this cable as it was rarely needed.

For this problem contact your mobile service provider.....

Pairing both devices from the Parrot Product:
Select Setting / Advanced Settings / Pair with phone / Other phones
* From the phone:
* Select MENU / OPTIONS / BLUTOOTH / ADD DEVICE / SEARCH
* The phone will search for available devices
* Select the Parrot Product name from the list, and enter the PIN code '1234'
* The phone will pair with the Parrot Product and auto connect

Sending contacts via Bluetooth For all contacts sending

* From the phone:
* Select MENU / MANAGE CONNECTIONS / BLUETOOTH OPTIONS
* Select the Parrot Product from the list of paired devices and go to OPTIONS / TRANSFER CONTACTS

remove all the previous paired phones from the parrot memory and then try again. if this dont work then you will need to have the software of the parrot updated. You can do this yourself but you will need a laptop with bluetooth. then download the software from parrot web site.

The pairing code for the CK3100 is 1234.

Press and hold both the red and the rotary buttons for some 3 seconds, until the indicator light flashes alternately in red and green. It is in pairing mode now, thus visible for other devices, for the next 3 minutes. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your car kit should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '1234'. If the pairing process is successful, the car kit should sound a beep. By the way, if your car kit's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location. The first time that you switch on the 3200 LS-Color, you must pair your mobile phone with the kit.

1.Enable the Bluetooth mode on your phone.

2.On the hands-free kit, scroll through the menus until you come to Settings Pair with phone and select the relevant option for your phone. A 4-digit PIN code then appears on screen. Memorize it.

3.Then from mobile serach the 3200 LS-Color device

Once the search has finished, "Parrot 3200LS / Parrot 3400LS" is displayed on your phone.

4.Select the kit. Your phone prompts you to enter a code: key in the code shown on the kit screen and confirm on your phone.

5.The kit's screen displays "Pairing".

6.Once the data has been exchanged, "pairing successful" appears on the 3200 LS-Color.

You need to reset the Parrot first.

Hold down red and green buttons together until she tells you that the memory is being cleared. Then she will prompt you to pair your phone.

My iPhone 3G is now connected. Did 3 things:

1. Deleted every existing paired device on the Parrot CK3100.

2. Pressed all 3 buttons at once. Parrot CK3100 screen lit up and buttons lit up after about 5 secs. Turned car engine off. Parrot switched off. Turned car on again.

3. Went to settings, advanced settings, pair device (and also switched on iPhone bluetooth) and tapped Parrot CK3100 on the iPhone screen (which had now appeared) - phone connected.

After about a minute sync iPhone phonebook appeared on Parrot.
